At present, the pool’s layout is limited: in-demand recreational programs must close yearly to allot space for pool-goers. Our proposed outdoor pavilion provides new changing and locker areas on the pool deck and uses natural systems of light, air and water to make a porous and efficient structure, which allows for continuous indoor recreation.

Given a rare opportunity as graduate architecture students to design a project from concept to construction and work with various city entities, we’re excited to physically realize this project. We hope for an extensive positive impact on community and education.
